Privacy

When you place an order, on our website or in our app, we get what you type in:

• your name, phone number and email address,
• your pickup or delivery date, and whether it's pickup or delivery,
• your delivery address, only if you choose local delivery,
• the occasion and any notes you add (like your theme, colors or allergies),
• what you ordered, your total, and what's been paid.

If you apply to work with us, we get what you put in the application: your name, phone number, email and whatever you tell us about yourself.

That's it. We don't ask for anything we don't need.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. When you pay a deposit or a balance, you type your card into Stripe's own secure form, so your card number, expiry and security code go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers. Stripe tells us that a payment went through, how much it was and which order it was for. We never see your full card number.

Stripe handles your card under its own privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

• No analytics, no advertising trackers, no “pixels”.
• The order page remembers the box you're building in your own browser, so a refresh doesn't lose it. It stays on your device until you send the order.
• After you send your order, that browser tab also remembers your thank-you screen (your order number, first name, date, what you ordered, your total and your order link) for up to a day, so a refresh doesn't lose your pay button. While an order is on its way to us, the tab also keeps a random code with a note of the box and date it was for, for up to an hour, so trying again after a dropped connection can't send the same order twice. Both stay in that one tab, and closing it clears them.
• None of that includes your phone number, email, address, occasion or notes.
• When you pay, Stripe's secure form may set its own cookies to help prevent fraud.
• To stop spam, we keep count of how often orders come from the same connection, using a scrambled code rather than your actual IP address. Our host also keeps the standard server logs every website has, to keep the site running and safe.

Our app sends your order to us exactly the way this website does, so everything above applies. It also keeps a copy of your past orders and your details on your phone, so you can reorder in a tap. That copy stays on your device, and deleting the app deletes it. There's no analytics, advertising or tracking in the app.
