Ordering Policies
Everything we ask of you, and everything you can count on from us, all in one place. If something here doesn't answer your question, message us!
Orders
You order right here on our site: pick your treats from the menu, your flavors, your date, and pickup or local delivery. Sending an order doesn't charge you anything.
Everything is made to order for your date. Menu prices cover the basic drizzle. Themes, custom colors and add-ons are all yes, and they can change the price. Straight from our party package menu:
- Prices may vary depending on themes, add-ons, etc!
- Can swap cakesicles to cake discs upon request!
If your theme adds to the total, we'll confirm the difference with you before we make anything.
Lead time
We need at least 3 days' notice before your pickup or delivery day, every time. Those days are the shopping, dipping and drying.
Party packages, big cookie batches and custom themes are happiest with a week or more. If your date is inside 3 days, message us before you plan around it and we'll tell you honestly whether we can fit it in. We can't promise same-day or next-day treats.
At the other end, you can book online up to 90 days ahead. Planning something further out, like a wedding or a graduation? Message us on Instagram (opens in a new tab) and we'll talk it through.
Deposits & paying
- Orders of $15 and up need a 50% deposit. When you send your order, we email you a link to your order page. We sort the deposit out with you when we confirm your order.
- Paying the deposit locks in your date.
- The rest is due when you pick up or we deliver.
- Under $15, there's no deposit at all. Just pay when you get your treats.
Why a deposit? We buy your berries, your chocolate and your sprinkles for your order specifically. The deposit is what lets us go shopping and hold your day.
Card payments are processed by Stripe. You type your card into Stripe's own secure form, so your card details never touch our servers. More on that in our privacy policy.
Pickup & delivery
- Pickup in Ocala. When we confirm your order we'll set a time and a spot with you.
- Local delivery. We deliver locally around Ocala, FL. Send us your address when you order and we'll confirm whether we can get to you and what it runs.
- We don't ship. Chocolate covered strawberries do not travel, so everything we make stays right here in Ocala, FL.
Changes & cancellations
Need to change something or cancel? Message us as soon as you know. We shop for your order specifically, so the earlier you tell us, the more we can move around. Just don't wait until pickup day!
Already paid your deposit and need to cancel or move your date? Message us and we'll work it out together.
If we ever have to cancel on our side, we'll tell you as soon as we know, and if you've already paid anything, we'll sort it out with you.
Allergens
Everything is made by hand in our home kitchen, so we can't promise anything is allergen-free. The line on our labels says it best: “Made in a home kitchen that also handles peanuts, milk, eggs, wheat and soy.”

If someone eating these has an allergy, message us on Instagram (@jks.sweetspot) (opens in a new tab) before you order and we'll tell you exactly what goes into your treats. Put it in your order notes too, so it stays with your order.
Freshness
Chocolate covered strawberries are best within a day, so we dip them as close to your pickup as we can. Plan your pickup close to your party rather than days ahead. Oreos, pretzels, rice crispies and cookies hold up a little longer, but nothing we make is built to sit around.
